Through a partnership with Impact Interactive, UMR offers an online audit process to help employers identify and exclude current members who fail to meet a plan’s eligibility rules. This service includes an analysis of the employer’s summary plan description and assistance in the development of clearly defined eligibility rules. Impact Interactive’s online audit then asks employees to answer a series of questions to determine which dependents meet the established eligibility criteria. As an optional service, Impact Interactive can request supporting documentation to verify eligibility following the audit. Dependent eligibility audits include communications to prompt employee participation and offer a return on investment through reduced claims costs. |
