Customization and integration are the key components to our UMR health reimbursement account (HRA) administration. Since we began administering HRAs in 2003, virtually every plan has been uniquely customized to meet the needs of our diverse client base.
 
Employers have the option of placing an initial deductible in front of the HRA and can determine the dollar amounts for deductibles and HRA contributions. Our integrated design uses the same claim engine to process HRA claims along with major medical coverage.
 
We can also integrate several other features and benefits into our HRA administrative offering, including:

  • Prescription drug coverage

  • Preventive care not subject to the standard deductible

  • A care management program to encourage healthier lifestyles

  • A flexible spending account component to fund deductible costs not covered by the HRA

  • Web tools to help employers design a plan structure to meet their cost and benefit goals and assist members in better assessing their health care costs and needs
