A health savings account (HSA), in combination with a high deductible health plan (HDHP), is a total turnkey product through UMR. We handle the claim administration and, if desired, care management component while providing employers with a choice of HSA custodians to administer the financial services.
 
In addition to the immediate cost savings of a higher deductible and payroll tax relief, benefit managers will also be relieved by the ease of implementation. We save companies additional time and money by being the single source for account management, enrollment meeting facilitation and coordination of member services.
 
Since UMR also administers standard PPO plans, employers have the option of introducing an HSA/HDHP as a full replacement or slice offering to existing health plan choices. They also have the option of contributing to their employee HSAs if they wish.
