HIPAA Administration
Relieving the burden of HIPAA administration

HIPAA states that patients with health coverage can reduce or eliminate any pre-existing medical condition limitations imposed when they move to another group health plan.
 
To help customers comply with requirements, we provide the following HIPAA administration services:

  • Preparing certificates for terminating employees and other plan participants upon notification

  • Ensuring plans are in full compliance by reviewing claims for prior creditable coverage when a pre-existing claim is presented

  • Certifying the receipt of incoming HIPAA certificates and verifying the amount of creditable coverage and any remaining pre-existing time

  • Reviewing all applicants for qualification under HIPAA Special Enrollment and Late Entrant provisions
